Iranian TV airs AI nuclear attack survival guide

Iran's state television has begun broadcasting an eight-minute civil defence video, generated with artificial intelligence, that gives citizens detailed instructions on what to do in the event of a nuclear attack.

The video advises Iranians not to look at the light of the explosion, to seek shelter, and to move away from exterior windows and walls. It then tells viewers to close all doors and windows, shut off ventilation systems, remove and seal their outer clothing, and shower with lukewarm water and soap. Citizens are also instructed to survive on bottled water and packaged food for the next 24 hours.

Claims of US Pressure on Iran

The release of the video follows suggestions that the US is being 'pressured' by Israel to launch a nuclear attack on Iran. Tucker Carlson claimed over the weekend that the Trump administration could launch a nuclear strike on Iran in just 'days'.

Iran has been a major talking point ahead of the US midterm elections, which could see Trump lose his Republican majority in Congress. Carlson released a lengthy statement on social media claiming that Trump is facing pressure from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who lost his majority party in recent elections.

Carlson's Claims on Pickax Mountain

Carlson claimed that the target would be Pickax Mountain in central Iran, where Israeli intelligence says the Iranian government has restarted its nuclear enrichment program. He said no conventional weapon in the American arsenal can penetrate 300 feet of solid granite to destroy the tunnels where enrichment is supposedly taking place.

The recently released AI video shows a mountain resembling Pickax Mountain in central Iran being bombed. Carlson said the only military option is a nuclear strike, adding that Netanyahu has been pushing hard for one, with an informed observer saying 'Bibi calls Trump about it every day'.

Netanyahu's Political Position

Carlson pointed out that Netanyahu is 'cornered' and unable to form a government unless 'Trump intervenes directly in Israeli politics and brokers a deal with other parties'. He said otherwise Netanyahu is out as prime minister and on his way to 'ignominy, investigations and possibly jail'.

The chances of Trump using a nuclear weapon in Iran remain low, but Carlson's claims have sparked conversation online.
