Lonely Dog Enzo Waits 200 Days for a Forever Home

An 'unwanted' dog has spent 200 days watching other pets find families, as nobody seems to want to adopt him. He's been left totally lonely, and it's breaking people's hearts.

Enzo's Heartbreaking Wait

Pet lovers are distraught after hearing the story of an 'unwanted' dog who nobody wants to adopt. The RSPCA recently introduced people to Enzo, who's one of the charity's longest staying dogs at a shelter in a certain part of the UK, and he's melting hearts across the nation.

After sharing his story, people have been left heartbroken as many can't believe he's been left lonely for so long, and the story has touched so many across the country. It's reported he's spent 200 days watching other animals find homes and families as he's been left alone with no one to care for him and nobody to love.

It's not the only story of its kind to be shared recently either. Previously, pet lovers were also alerted to the world's loneliest dog.

RSPCA's Plea for Enzo

Posting on Instagram, the RSPCA said: '200 days and not one person has chosen Enzo. He's now one of @rspca_southridge's longest-staying dogs, and has waited patiently as other dogs have found their families.'

'He absolutely adores humans, and nothing makes his tail wag like a good tennis ball. He's dog-friendly, but loves to play and needs some guidance on boundaries, which is why he'd be better suited to an only-dog home.'

'After a difficult start in life, he really deserves a happy ending. Could you be his perfect match? Visit his profile via the link in our bio. It only takes a second to share, but it could change his whole life.'

Public Reaction

The post has been liked over 1,000 times since it was shared and people were quick to comment too. Many couldn't believe Enzo had been left behind.

One said: 'Hope you find your forever home Enzo. You deserve the best.' Another added: 'What a beautiful baby. I have shared. Hope he finds his forever home soon.'

A third replied: 'Oh bless him. He's an absolutely gorgeous boy. I really hope that he will find his forever home soon.' Meanwhile, a fourth commented: 'Oops! What a gorgeous boy you are!! I'd have you in a beat, but we already have two lively beasts and I'm told 'one each' is enough. I do hope you find a smashing forever family very soon.'

One more also wrote: 'I have the pleasure of working with Enzo! He is the most sweetest, most goofiest boy ever! Please, please, please get this gorgeous boy a home!!!!'
