Rupert Lowe Demands Deportation of All Fast-Track Asylum Migrants
Lowe: Deport All Fast-Track Asylum Migrants

Rupert Lowe has demanded that every migrant allowed into the UK under a fast-track asylum scheme be deported, following reports that they only completed a ten-page form instead of a full interview. The Great Yarmouth MP and leader of Restore Britain made the call after the Daily Telegraph revealed that illegal migrants on the scheme were not subjected to in-depth questioning.

Scheme Details and Countries Affected

The streamlined process applied to six countries: Afghanistan, Eritrea, Libya, Syria, Yemen, and Sudan. Lowe blames former Conservative MPs Robert Jenrick and Suella Braverman for implementing the scheme, despite both having left the party over immigration policy disagreements.

Lowe's Demands

Lowe told the Daily Express: "Every single individual handed a visa under Jenrick and Braverman's scheme will be deported under a Restore Britain Government." He also called for the death penalty for one Sudanese migrant, Hadi Alodid, arrested in connection with the Belfast attack, stating, "He won't be deported. A far more permanent fate awaits him."

Lowe added: "Afghans, Eritreans, Libyans, Syrians, Yemenis and Sudanese people currently in our country, living off the taxpayer, unable to speak English, committing crime, failing to work, claiming benefits, they will be deported. Any of those nationalities who arrived illegally will be removed."

Political Reactions

A Reform UK official defended Jenrick and Braverman, stating: "This vile individual was granted asylum because the caseworkers had their hands tied by the ECHR. Robert and Suella were the only people to take a stand in government and demand we left the ECHR - unlike Kemi Badenoch who stayed until the bitter end, endorsing this destructive policy."

The official added: "If Kemi Badenoch and her colleagues hadn’t been so cowardly we could have avoided this appalling situation." Mrs Badenoch recently confirmed to the Spectator Magazine that she had arranged for Lowe to have a seat on the Public Accounts Committee.

A former Home Office official described the policy as "madcap" and "cooked up by Rishi and imposed on the Home Office." They added: "You could never have stopped this bloke getting asylum within the ECHR - but leaving was a red line for him and the Tory party." Kemi Badenoch has since announced her support for leaving the convention, which the party claims would enable firmer border control.
