Woman, 34, shares 20p home remedies for younger-looking skin

A 34-year-old wellness influencer has revealed her secrets to looking younger without resorting to anti-wrinkle injections. Zareefa, known on TikTok as @byzareefa, claims that simple home remedies costing as little as 20p have helped her reverse the signs of ageing.

Zareefa, who has nearly 300,000 followers, shared her transformation and tips online. One of her favourite remedies is a flax seed face mask, which she calls “Botox at home”. The mask involves mixing one tablespoon of flaxseed meal with half a cup of boiling water, leaving it for 30 minutes to an hour until it forms a jelly-like consistency. She then adds a drop of dead sea mud serum to target dark spots and fine lines.

Another trick she swears by is using the membrane from boiled eggshells. The slimy layer is rich in collagen, hyaluronic acid and elastin, which she believes helps plump skin and strengthen joints. She often eats it with the egg or adds it to smoothies, citing studies that show it can boost skin elasticity and reduce wrinkles.

Finally, Zareefa recommends rubbing banana peel on the skin as a natural alternative to Botox. The peel contains lutein, an antioxidant that brightens skin and fades dark spots. She suggests leaving it on for ten minutes before rinsing, and repeating a few times a week for dramatic results. “You’re not going to need any injectables if you’re doing this consistently,” she said.
