Trinny Woodall has flaunted her incredible abs while revealing the secrets to her 10-minute workout regime in a new post to fans. The fashion influencer and beauty brand owner, 62, shared a new clip on Tuesday with her followers as she donned her workout clothes for the exercise.
She could be seen in a sports bra and leggings, as she held weights on either arm while stepping onto her vibrating plate. Walking fans through her workout, Trinny said: 'I haven't done exercise for a week. And it makes me think, you know, I just want to keep the energy that I get from exercise.'
'So this is my 10 minute workout. I will go on my vibrating plate and what I like about the vibrating plate is it's really good for my lymph, I can sometimes have a sluggish lymph. And also if you have any osteoporosis in your family because it's very good for bone density, and this is my made up exercise, by the way.'
'I then do a little calf raising because I just think strength for my ankle is balance, and I just do these up quickly and then down slowly. Look at something in front of you because it can be quite difficult on the balance. And then I might just do some arm raise at the same time like that. Keep them in the flow.'
In a follow up story, Trinny continued to take her fans through the quick 10-minute workout. Speaking to Glossy last month about her workouts, Trinny said: 'My relationship with my body has been different over each decade, depending on how much I loved myself. When I didn’t love myself, I negated my body.'
'I’ve learned how important it is to love yourself. Whatever my body’s going through, whether it’s the [postmenopausal] underarm sluggishness or [knock] knees, it’s part of who I am. I really nurture my body. I try and think, "What does it need this month?" … Your relationship with your body [should be] strong. [You need to] look after it and give it strength, both mentally and physically, so it will look after you.'
Trinny has long credited her vibrating board which she uses regularly to ensure she stays regular. Holding weights in her hand and donning a LED face mask, she recently said: 'So this vibrating plate is really good to help me have a poo in the morning.' Trinny used the rest of the video to explain what each of her LED masks helped with and her exfoliating routine beforehand.
The fashion lover has just returned from a trip to India where she flaunted her incredibly toned body in a holiday post shared via Instagram. Alongside the post, she penned: 'Three days in India felt like a week of such a joy and celebration of my dear friend. It felt good to say yes and go all that way and see one’s friend surrounded by love.'
'It was a magical moment in time and here are some highlights from our beautiful Hotel in Udaipur which I couldn’t recommend more highly. The most incredible food, the most joy full exquisite decoration a little bit of sightseeing- a little bit of shopping, lots of wonderful chats with people I haven’t seen for ages. And a lot of wafting in all the outfits that I managed to squeeze into my hand luggage. Now back to reality.'
Trinny celebrated her 62nd birthday with her pals in February as she showed off her ageless complexion. Her low-key celebrations took place at her stylish London home which kicked off with breakfast following student Lyla's return from studying in Madrid. The birthday girl, who shares her daughter with late ex-husband Johnny Elichaoff, who died in 2014, was then joined by a huge group of female pals including Susannah and TV's Tania Bryer.
Trinny, looking stylish in leopard print, beamed cosied up to her nearest and dearest as she enjoyed a lavish lunch before being surprised with a gifted vacuum cleaner. She captioned the post: 'Such a joyful birthday today surrounded by my favourite girlfriends and family. Lyla came over from Spain. She made me the most glorious cakes for breakfast and gorgeous thoughtful presents. Girlfriends came over for lunch and Zak and Alfie made it. Such a cozy day.'
Trinny, who became a mother for the first time in 2003 when she gave birth to Lyla with her late ex-husband Johnny Elichaoff, who died in 2014, recently opened up on her battle to become a mother. During an appearance on Fabulous magazine's No Parental Guidance podcast, she explained that she even continued filming What Not To Wear while suffering miscarriages. She fronted the show with Susannah Constantine who she says helped her discover her maternal instincts.
Trinny told the podcast: 'I did have 16 rounds of IVF - expensive. It worked the second time, but I had miscarriages.' She said: 'The first time, you feel that trickle and go to the bathroom and you think, 'OK' - and your heart just sinks. I don't remember if I did tell anyone. I was quite private, always separating work and what was going on.'
'I definitely would have told [co-star] Susannah [Constantine], but I don't know if I would have told the production crew. I just carried on because otherwise what else do you do? Also, when you do IVF, it could be that you've put two eggs in and one egg is coming out. You don't know [if one has survived]. So there's that sort of sense that maybe... that tiny bit of hope.'
