There's nothing quite as satisfying when the sun begins to shine as a cool, chilled beverage, and fortunately for us Brits, Tango has launched a brand new fruity flavour just in time for the summer months. Tango Thirst Trap is a limited-edition, zero-sugar soft drink featuring a fruity combination of juicy peach, sharp orange, and tropical pineapple.
A Flavour Designed for Gen Z
The flavour officially landed in UK stores in early February 2026, and is described as a "tangy hit" with a sweet and refreshing finish from the peach and tropical pineapple notes. The drink has been specially crafted to attract Gen Z consumers, using a name rooted in social media culture, and it appears they're lapping it up – judging by the rave reviews on TikTok and Instagram.
The flavour has been labelled online as a "top tier" summer beverage, with numerous online creators, such as 'TripleEats', awarding it a "10/10" rating.
Does It Live Up to the Hype?
I must admit that, despite being older than the intended audience, I wholeheartedly agree. The drink is incredibly fruity and refreshing, with the peach and pineapple flavours really shining through. It's somewhat reminiscent of a mocktail or fruit punch – but considerably more affordable, naturally.
Come summer, I'd certainly reach for this flavour over a standard Tango, as it feels like a step up and something a little bit special to indulge yourself with. Like some fruity, sugar-free drinks, the flavour doesn't leave an "artificial" aftertaste and is genuinely pleasant.
Where to Buy
The beverage forms part of the "Tango Editions" range, which launches new rotating flavours every 12 months. It's currently stocked at retailers including Sainsbury's, Morrisons, and Iceland in multiple formats, such as 330ml cans, 500ml bottles, and 2-litre bottles.
It's certainly worth picking up a bottle to sample as I reckon it could well be one of the drinks of the summer!
