Mel B Embraces New Role as Global Ambassador for Revive Collagen
Mel B, famously known as Scary Spice from the Spice Girls, was all smiles as she celebrated her appointment as the new global ambassador for Revive Collagen on Thursday night. The event, held at Soho House Holloway in Los Angeles, saw her alongside founder Samantha Faiers, marking a significant partnership for the brand's new menopause range.
A Dazzling Display at the LA Celebration
Mel B made a striking entrance, ditching her signature leopard print for a dazzling co-ord ensemble. She wore a stylish crop top and matching miniskirt, showcasing her amazing figure, and completed the look with knee-high wrap silver towering heels. Her long tresses were styled in a neat ponytail as she posed on the red carpet and chatted with guests, including DJ Natalina, whom she later joined behind the decks.
Samantha Faiers, the former TOWIE star and businesswoman behind Revive Collagen, looked incredible in a pink plunging bow gown with a peplum skirt and cut-outs, highlighting her toned midriff. In a nod to Mel, she accessorised with leopard print heels and a ponytail. The party also attracted support from TV host Alison Victoria, Pussycat Doll star Natalie Mejia, and Sports Illustrated model Kamie Crawford, adding to the star-studded atmosphere.
Personal Insights on Menopause Journey
Speaking about her new role, Mel B opened up about her personal struggles with menopause. She shared, 'I've been through my own menopause journey. Hot sweats, night sweats, then you're cold, then you forget what you've gone downstairs for. God, it takes its toll. I think there's something like 48 symptoms, and I've more or less had nearly all of them at some point.' She emphasised the importance of education, stating, 'This is why it's important to educate ourselves because as women we need to take control over this. Do ourselves justice and make it easier and more simple for us, right?'
Mel B joins existing ambassador Amanda Holden in Revive Collagen's growing roster of influential female voices championing women's wellbeing. The brand, co-founded by Samantha Faiers and John Bailey in August 2020, has become Europe's fastest-growing collagen brand, known for its ready-to-drink liquid collagen supplements. It has enlisted high-profile figures like A-list hair stylist Chris Appleton to boost its star power.
Spice Girls Reunion Plans Axed Amidst New Ventures
This new campaign comes as Mel B faces news that the Spice Girls' 30th anniversary reunion tour has been axed. Reports indicate the group failed to agree on plans for a comeback, with bandmates including Geri Horner, Mel C, Emma Bunton, and Victoria Beckham unable to reach a consensus. Mel B hinted at the change in a recent Instagram post, walking along a beach in a thong bikini with a defiant caption, though she later shared an old group photo suggesting hope for a future reunion.
Mel C confirmed there is no current reunion in the works, stating, 'No, there is no reunion. We are communicating all the time. We want to do something – who knows when.' So far, only a collectible coin from the Royal Mint has been announced to mark the anniversary, leaving fans awaiting further developments.
Revive Collagen's Rise in the Wellness Industry
Revive Collagen, under Samantha Faiers' leadership, has rapidly expanded since its inception. As the majority stakeholder, Faiers has leveraged her business acumen to position the brand at the forefront of the wellness market. The menopause range aims to address common symptoms like hot flushes and low mood, with Mel B's ambassador role highlighting the brand's commitment to women's health education and support.
In an accompanying photoshoot for the ambassador announcement, Mel B harked back to her Scary Spice era, wearing silk leopard print pyjamas and a glamorous furry coat, as well as a shimmering lilac minidress. These images underscore her enduring influence and the brand's focus on empowering women through stylish and effective wellness solutions.
