Reality TV star Charlotte Dawson delivered a refreshingly honest body update to her followers this week, revealing her post-Christmas weight gain while championing a message of self-acceptance.
A Refreshingly Honest Festive Update
Taking to her Instagram Stories on Monday, the 33-year-old television personality shared a candid video of herself in workout gear. She disclosed that she had stepped on the scales to assess the impact of the festive period. Charlotte revealed she had gained four pounds (4lbs) over Christmas, bringing her weight to 11 stone 12 pounds.
In her characteristically blunt style, she also mentioned she had just started her period, humorously describing the experience. Despite the gain, Dawson was remarkably positive. She emphasised that she had enjoyed the festive season and felt no guilt about her indulgence.
"I've put on 4lbs over Xmas and I'm actually buzzing because that isn't even as much as I have done before," she captioned the post. "I've enjoyed myself and don't ever feel guilty for that!"
Celebrating Past Success and Setting New Goals
Alongside her latest update, Charlotte showcased her significant progress from the past year. She shared a striking before-and-after swimsuit snap, revealing to her followers that between July and December 2025, she lost almost two stone.
Proud of her transformation, she captioned the comparison photos: "Can really see a difference from these pics!!! Wowza so proud of myself." She also noted she was back fitting into her size 14 clothing.
Not one to rest on her laurels, Dawson immediately set a new fitness target. She told her followers she aimed to lose one stone within six weeks, by the end of January. During her update, she also promoted her own Belleh Blaster diet plan, which she credits for her previous success.
Addressing Personal Rumours Head-On
This latest personal update follows recent speculation about her relationship status. Reports had suggested Charlotte had split from her fiancé, rugby star Matt Sarsfield, after a blazing row following the launch of her tanning brand in December 2025.
However, Dawson was quick to shut down the rumours on Instagram. She shared a snap with Matt and wrote, "it’s not true we are still together." She explained they had even gotten matching tattoos of their children's names and were celebrating a successful product launch.
The couple, who have been together for eight years, appear to be moving forward strongly, with Charlotte focusing on her health, family, and business ventures.
