The family of a 26-year-old mother from Manchester is sharing their heartbreaking story in a desperate bid to warn others after she died from complications following a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) procedure in Turkey.
Demi Agoglia, a mother to a young son and stepmother to two other children, travelled to Istanbul for the popular cosmetic surgery. Just days after returning to the UK, she suffered a fatal pulmonary embolism, a known risk associated with the procedure.
Her devastated partner, Bradley Jones, recounted the moment she fell ill. "She just said, 'I can't breathe' and then collapsed. I tried to give her CPR until the ambulance came, but she was gone," he told the Mirror.

Demi's motivation for the surgery was a desire to feel more confident. She had meticulously saved for the operation, which is often sought abroad due to significantly lower costs compared to the UK. However, these lower prices can sometimes come with increased risks.
