Former Page 3 model Rhian Sugden has undergone a £10,000 breast reduction, describing the surgery as 'life-changing' after years of pain and discomfort. The 38-year-old, who rose to fame on Celebrity Big Brother, said her 34GG breasts left her in 'agony' following the birth of her son in 2024.
In a video shared with her 492,000 Instagram followers, Sugden explained that her nipples were 11cm lower than they should be due to the effects of gravity after pregnancy. 'I've always been conscious about what they look like,' she said. 'Since having a baby, gravity has taken its toll.' She added that she wanted her breasts 'a bit smaller, perkier, uplifted' to improve her quality of life.
Sugden detailed the physical toll her large bust had taken, including constant back pain requiring weekly massages, difficulty finding bras and bikinis, and problems with swimming. 'When I swim my back arches up because they push out the water,' she said. 'Even swimming is difficult.' She also suffered from deep grooves in her shoulders from bra straps and relied on painkillers for everyday activities.
The surgery was performed at Pall Mall Cosmetics in Newton-le-Willows. Sugden admitted her husband, Coronation Street actor Oliver Mellor, was initially 'gutted' but understood her need for relief. She also faced criticism from an OnlyFans subscriber who demanded a 'refund' after she reduced her bust. 'It's difficult to process other people having an opinion on my body,' she said, but added that the reduction would be 'a relief.'
