Social media influencer Indy Clinton has publicly thanked her rhinoplasty surgeon, Dr George Marcells, for what she describes as a life-changing revision surgery. In an Instagram Stories post on Monday, the 28-year-old shared images of her new nose and expressed her gratitude.
Dr Marcells, based in Bondi, is a specialist ENT and head and neck surgeon with over 25 years' experience in facial plastic surgery. He is a former president of the Australasian Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery and is widely regarded as one of Australia's top rhinoplasty surgeons.
While Indy has not disclosed the cost of her revision, similar procedures in Australia can range from $18,000 to over $35,000. The influencer underwent the revision after being dissatisfied with her first nose job in March, which left her with breathing difficulties, significant swelling, and uneven nostrils.
In a tearful TikTok video, Indy explained that the first surgery had left her unable to breathe through her nose, requiring a four-hour reconstruction using cartilage from her rib. She said she hoped for an 'incredible outcome' and felt she was 'in safe hands' with Dr Marcells.
Fans have reacted positively to the results, with one commenting, 'Wowwwww they've done such a good job! You look amazing.' Another praised the surgeon, calling him 'some kind of magician.' Indy replied, 'Truly. And that's why he's one of Australia's top surgeons for noses (and facelifts).'
