In 2022, Freddie Flintoff's life was dramatically altered when a car accident on the set of Top Gear left him with severe facial injuries. He underwent extensive reconstructive surgery led by maxillofacial surgeon Mr Jahrad Haq, whose expertise played a crucial role in Flintoff's remarkable recovery. Now, at 48 years old, Flintoff is using his platform and experience to highlight global healthcare disparities.
"After my crash I had access to the best people. Not everyone gets that. If there's a way to shine a light on it, to use what profile I've got for that, then that's what I'll do," Flintoff stated, underscoring his commitment to this cause.
