Dean Andrews, best known for playing Will Taylor on Emmerdale, has revealed he underwent eye surgery. The actor shared a photo on Instagram showing himself in a car wearing protective eye shields, with the caption: "Eye surgery went ok thankfully."
Fans were quick to send well-wishes, with comments such as "Good news. Get well soon" and "Hope you have a speedy recovery." This follows a previous surgery in February for a mystery condition, which Andrews also documented on social media.
Andrews played Will Taylor on the ITV soap from 2019 until the character was killed off in December last year. He had previously stated he loved the show so much that the writers would have to kill off his character to make him leave.
Since leaving Emmerdale, Andrews has not made on-screen appearances. He is also known for his voiceover work, including narrating the documentary series Casualty 24/7.
