Derek Hough and his wife Hayley Erbert have been spotted for the first time since welcoming their baby girl, Everley Capri Hough, on December 29, 2025. The couple, who announced the birth on January 5, were seen enjoying a sunny outing in Calabasas, California, doting on their two-and-a-half-week-old daughter.
Hough, 40, was casually dressed in tan loungewear and trainers, while Erbert, 31, wore a loose denim shirt over a black top and leggings. At one point, the Dancing With The Stars judge was seen cradling the baby, whose tiny feet dangled in white socks, as Erbert pushed the stroller.
The first-time parents have clearly adapted to parenthood, with Hough expressing his gratitude for the new chapter in his life. Speaking to Us Weekly, he said: 'I just feel so thankful for health and for this blessing and for this new chapter. This new year is going to be filled with lots of new experiences and amplified experiences because I think that’s what love does.'
Hough also revealed that he is open to judging two seasons of Dancing with the Stars per year, noting that the show has found a 'sweet spot' with its current format. The couple are spending quality time at home with their newborn following a record-breaking season of the show in 2025.
