For years, speculation has swirled around television presenter and influencer Bec Judd regarding potential cosmetic enhancements. Now, the AFL WAG has chosen to set the record straight, offering a remarkably candid account of the surgical procedures she has undergone in a bid to combat signs of ageing.
Setting the Record Straight on Surgery Rumours
Speaking on the latest episode of the Vain-ish podcast alongside her plastic surgeon, Dr Andrew Greensmith, Judd was quick to address one persistent piece of gossip. She firmly denied ever having rhinoplasty, despite frequent public assumptions. "Well I haven't had my nose done, and that's the thing I get accused of the most," she stated. "This little nose that looks like a nose job nose, is all mine." She attributed her distinctive feature to genetics, noting that neither of her parents share her "weird tiny nose."
A Two-Year Journey of Eye Procedures
Moving to the procedures she has authorised, Judd revealed a detailed and costly history focused entirely on her eyes. Her journey began around the age of 30 when she sought treatment for hereditary dark circles and hollows. Initially, she followed a popular trend and opted for under-eye filler. "At the start it did its job," she recalled. However, the results soon deteriorated. The filler began to migrate and absorb fluid, leading to significant puffiness.
Dissolving the filler proved to be another setback, as the process also affected her natural tissue, making the hollows more pronounced. This experience led her to swear off filler entirely. "It's why I just don't like filler any more," Judd explained, adding that she resorted to constant concealer and sunglasses to hide the issue, a problem for someone whose "job is my face."
Her solution was a lower blepharoplasty, a surgical procedure performed under general anaesthetic to remove and reposition fat from the lower eyelids. While this addressed the bags, the hollows remained. After extensive research, Judd completed her ocular overhaul with a fat transfer to smooth the under-eye area and an upper blepharoplasty to remove a small amount of excess eyelid skin. "It was a two-year journey and it cost a s***load of money," she summarised, though she acknowledged the improvement, stating, "It's never going to be perfect but it looks so much better than it did before."
From Denial to Disclosure
This public revelation marks a significant shift for the Jaggad founder. For a long time, Judd attributed her youthful appearance solely to a healthy lifestyle and premium skincare, denying any surgical or non-invasive work. Recently, however, she has begun to hint at and now fully disclose the treatments she uses, including a recent admission to trying a 'salmon sperm facial', which she described as a biostimulatory injectable for thinning skin.
Her detailed account on the Vain-ish podcast, facilitated by expert commentary from Dr Greensmith, provides a rare, transparent look at the realities, costs, and potential complications of pursuing cosmetic perfection, moving the conversation beyond mere rumour into documented personal experience.
