Scotland's largest vaccine producer, Valneva Scotland, has donated an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) to St John's Lodge in Fauldhouse, a West Lothian community organisation. The donation brings life-saving equipment to an area where publicly available defibrillators are scarce.
Employee-Nominated Venue
St John's Lodge was nominated by Valneva employees and selected after meeting key criteria, including the absence of an AED on site and limited access to publicly available defibrillators nearby.

Mark Jones, Site Director of Valneva Scotland, said: “Access to an AED can be the difference between life and death in an emergency. The device was repurposed, extending its useful life while reducing waste and avoiding unnecessary environmental impact.”
Jones added: “By working with our employees and local partners, we’re delighted to be able to place this vital equipment where it can have the greatest impact.”
