Molly-Mae Hague Shares Post-Birth Struggles and Second Baby Joy

Molly-Mae Hague has opened up about her emotional postpartum journey, revealing that after giving birth to her first child, she felt her life was over. The former Love Island star, now 27, recently welcomed her second baby this month, a son named Midas, whom she shares with partner Tommy Fury. The couple also have a three-year-old daughter, Bambi, born in January 2023.

In a candid Instagram post, Molly-Mae shared the stark contrast between her experiences with her two children. 'With Bambi I used to sit staring out of the window while breastfeeding thinking my life was over,' she wrote. 'I thought I'd never sleep again, never get a moment to myself and never really be able to cope. I couldn't see the light at the end of the tunnel because I hadn't reached it yet.'

Finding Peace Second Time Around

However, with her newborn son Midas, Molly-Mae has found a sense of calm and reassurance. 'The peace and happiness I feel this time around is something I wished for but didn't know would come,' she expressed. She credited her son for healing many of her newborn fears, noting that the difference between the two experiences is 'indescribable.'

Molly-Mae emphasized that every difficult phase with a child is temporary. 'No difficult day with your baby lasts forever and no tricky chapter stays the same. The comfort I've taken in that this time around has made me feel so different,' she wrote.

Embracing the Present

The influencer also reflected on the fleeting nature of infancy. 'I'll blink and I won't have a tiny newborn anymore and if anything, that's the part that makes me sad,' she admitted. She shared a photo of baby supplies laid out on her bed, noting that she will miss the nighttime nappy changes once they are over. 'This time I really feel it when they say, 'You'll sleep again, but they'll never be this little again,'' she added.

Molly-Mae kept her son's gender private until after his birth, sparking speculation about his name. Tommy Fury later revealed the unusual moniker Midas, which was emblazoned on his shorts during his fight with Eddie Hearn. Molly-Mae watched proudly from the stands, wearing a white dress from her Maebe collection and joking that she had accessorized with 'spanx, also a GIANT pad and a lot of prayers.'
