A major fire at a former mill in Rochdale has caused extensive damage, forcing the demolition of the building. The blaze broke out at Dicken Green Mill at 22:30 BST on Monday.
At its height, more than 50 firefighters were at the scene tackling the flames. Around 30 nearby homes were evacuated as a precaution.
Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) confirmed that the roof of the building had collapsed inwards. Fire crews are now working to arrange demolition in order to reach the remaining pockets of fire.

No injuries have been reported, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
