The Food Standards Agency (FSA) has issued an allergy alert, warning that the undeclared hazelnuts could cause severe reactions in people with nut allergies. Krispy Kreme stated: "We are recalling our limited-time Pitch Perfect Doughnut because it may contain hazelnuts (nuts) which are not declared on the package or at point of sale." The company added that affected products were sold in stores supplied from its Peterborough doughnut site.
