Trisha Goddard Celebrates as Brain Scan Shows No Cancer Spread

Trisha Goddard has shared positive news from her latest brain scan, revealing that her cancer has not spread to her brain. The talk show host, who was diagnosed with incurable stage four breast cancer three years ago, received the results just an hour after her scan via a mobile app.

In a social media post, Goddard was seen dancing and smiling in front of her Christmas tree. She described her oncology team as constantly playing 'Whack-A-Mole' with cancer cells, adjusting treatments based on scan results. 'Thank heavens, I got my results about an hour after my scan via a special app on my phone because I can't imagine having to go into the New Year full of angst waiting for them,' she wrote.

Goddard, who originally beat breast cancer in 2008, undergoes regular MRI and CAT scans as part of her ongoing treatment. She also thanked the medical staff at her radiology centre for working over the New Year period. The 68-year-old recently celebrated her birthday and has been vocal about living with metastatic breast cancer, which she describes as a 'life limiting illness' rather than a terminal one.

In addition to cancer, Goddard lives with Raynaud's syndrome. She has previously spoken about her treatment journey, including chemotherapy before entering the Celebrity Big Brother house, where producers provided her with a private bedroom and bathroom to ensure her comfort.
