Food safety officials have triggered an urgent product recall for a popular brand of sausages, warning they contain milk which is not declared on the label—posing a potentially life-threatening risk to allergy sufferers.
The Food Standards Agency (FSA) has issued a Point-of-Sale Notice to all retailers stocking the affected product: Jolly Hog The Best Ever Pork Sausages with a pack size of 400g and a specific use-by date of 16 October 2024.

The product contains milk, making it a serious health hazard for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or its constituents. For those affected, consumption could lead to severe allergic reactions.
