Innocent Smoothie Tastes Like Dessert With Fibre Boost

Many people believe that eating healthy can sometimes be boring, but Social News Assistant Editor Samantha Bartlett has recently discovered a smoothie that delivers a fibre boost, Vitamin C, and counts as one of your five-a-day, all while tasting like a dessert.

Innocent Smoothie Review: A Dessert-Like Healthy Treat

In today's busy world, staying healthy can be challenging, especially with so many tempting treats available. However, Bartlett found that Innocent's new smoothie range, inspired by desserts, offers a delicious solution. The smoothies contain only natural, real-food ingredients like crushed fruit, vegetables, and pure juices, with no artificial sweeteners, preservatives, or added sugar.

New Dessert-Inspired Flavours

The new range includes flavours such as 'Like strawberry cupcakes', 'Blueberry muffin-ish', and 'A bit like lemon pie'. These plant-based smoothies are blended with coconut milk for a creamy texture, which Bartlett particularly enjoyed. She noted that the drinks provide a punch of flavour without being overly sweet, and knowing they are all natural makes them even more enjoyable.

Bartlett's favourite flavour is 'Blueberry muffin-ish', followed by strawberry, then lemon. She suggests that the smoothies can also be used to make healthy ice lollies, sorbets, or added to overnight oats, making them a versatile product.

Availability and Pricing

The new range has been available at Tesco since May and will be available at Waitrose, Sainsbury's, Morrisons, and Ocado from September. Single-serve 250ml bottles have a recommended retail price of £2.20, while larger 750ml family bottles retail for £4.

If you're looking for a 'little treat' that still helps you stay on track with nutrition, this smoothie is definitely worth trying.
