Elon Musk may be the richest person in the world, but his breakfast routine is surprisingly simple. The Tesla and SpaceX CEO revealed on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast that he starts each day with steak and eggs, a meal he describes as a 'power-up.'
Steak and Eggs: A Simple Yet Effective Breakfast
Musk told Rogan, 'I just have like steak and eggs for breakfast, no bread.' He explained that the meal helps him maintain steady energy throughout the day, avoiding the crashes caused by carbohydrates. 'We're all overrun with carbohydrates,' he said. 'Carbohydrates make this big crash – the rise and the crash.'
Nutritional Benefits of Steak and Eggs
While opinions on low-carb diets vary, steak and eggs offer several nutrients vital for energy and health. Eggs are rich in protein, vitamins B12 and D, selenium, iodine, and choline, which supports brain function. Steak provides high-quality protein, iron, zinc, and vitamin B12, aiding oxygen transport and energy production.
