Alison Hammond Reveals 11 Stone Weight Loss Secrets Without Jabs

Alison Hammond has opened up about her impressive 11 stone weight loss, achieved without the use of weight-loss injections. The 50-year-old This Morning presenter credited a personalised exercise plan with a trainer and a focus on moderation in her diet.

Speaking to Heat magazine, Hammond explained that she trains with her personal trainer when her schedule allows. 'If I'm working, I don't train, I'll go for a walk. But when I'm at home, I'll go and have a session with her in the morning, just an hour. It might be four days a week,' she said.

Hammond's weight loss journey began after the death of her mother Maria, who had previously expressed concerns about her daughter's pre-diabetic diagnosis. At her heaviest, Hammond weighed 28 stone. She has since dropped 11 stone through her new lifestyle regimen.

Regarding diet, Hammond emphasised that she does not completely cut out her favourite foods but consumes them in moderation. She also explained her decision to avoid weight-loss jabs, citing 'scary' stories she had heard. In a December interview with Good Housekeeping, she said: 'I think that, for people who need to use them, they're a good thing - but for me, as soon as I hear any scare story, I get frightened.'

In her memoir, Hammond credited her mother for shaping her character, writing that Maria 'used to sing' and that the 'house would be filled with laughter.' She also reflected on grief after the death of Queen Elizabeth II, which brought back memories of losing her mother.
