Mrs Hinch Fan's 49p Napisan Hack Eliminates Yellow Pillow Stains

A cleaning hack shared by fans of Mrs Hinch has been hailed as a miracle solution for banishing unsightly yellow stains from pillows. The method, which uses Napisan stain remover, claims to restore stained pillowcases to a like-new condition with an overnight soak.

One user, who tested the hack, initially struggled to find the product locally before purchasing two 800g cartons of Napisan from Amazon for £12.10. The user followed instructions from a Mrs Hinch fan page: soak the pillowcase in warm water with around 60g of Napisan for at least six hours, then wash in the machine with additional Napisan and regular detergent.

After soaking overnight and washing at 40 degrees for one hour and 25 minutes, the yellow stains were completely gone. The user noted that the fabric felt brighter, cleaner, and softer than before. Napisan works by releasing active oxygen to remove stains and kill germs, even at 30 degrees, avoiding the need for high-temperature washes.

To test its limits, the user deliberately dabbed a wet tea bag on a white pillowcase, then treated it with the same Napisan soak and wash cycle. The tea stains were successfully removed, demonstrating the product's effectiveness on stubborn marks.
