Morrisons and Tesco have issued an urgent food recall on certain crisp products due to the possible presence of milk, which is not declared on the label. This poses a health risk to individuals with a milk allergy or intolerance.
Eat Real is recalling its Puffs range with best before dates up to and including May 2022. The affected products may contain milk that is not listed as an ingredient. Customers who have purchased these snacks and have a milk allergy or intolerance are advised not to eat them and to return the pack to the point of purchase for a full refund.
Tesco is also recalling Eat Real white cheddar quinoa puffs (130g) with all best before dates up to and including May 2022. The supermarket stated: “Please do not eat this product and return it to your nearest store for a full refund. We do not need a receipt.”
In a separate recall, Sainsbury’s is recalling Off The Eaten Path Caramelised Onion & Balsamic Vinegar crisps (120g) with a best before date of September 11, 2021, due to undeclared milk. Customers with a milk allergy should contact the customer careline on 0800 274777.
Sainsbury’s has also recalled Knoppers Wafers due to incorrect labelling that may not declare peanuts, soya, or milk, making them unsuitable for allergy sufferers.
