A 15-year-old boy has died after falling from the roof of a multi-storey car park in Liverpool city centre on Saturday night. Emergency services were called to Hanover Street at 8.25pm following reports of a male having fallen from the car park.
Despite the efforts of paramedics, the teenager was pronounced dead at the scene. Merseyside Police confirmed that the death is not being treated as suspicious and a file has been sent to the coroner.
The boy's family has been informed and is being supported by specialist officers. Formal identification has yet to take place. Hanover Street was cordoned off on Saturday night with diversions in place while emergency services attended.
