Meryl Streep's £40 Powder for Flawless Mature Skin Revealed

Meryl Streep's flawless complexion in 'The Devil Wears Prada 2' is reportedly down to a £40 Charlotte Tilbury powder. The actress's makeup artist, Donald McInnes, has shared that he used the Airbrush Flawless Finish powder in shades one and two for her recent public appearances and press tours.

The powder, priced at £40, is formulated with rose wax and almond oil to hydrate the skin, preventing a chalky or cakey finish. It contains light-reflecting ingredients that diffuse light, creating an airbrushed effect, while micro powders smooth and blur fine lines and pores.

McInnes revealed on Instagram that he relied almost exclusively on Charlotte Tilbury products for Streep's makeup in the film and for promotional events. The powder can be worn alone as foundation, used to mattify specific areas, or applied all over to set makeup.

Reviews on Cult Beauty praise the product for its suitability for mature skin. One reviewer noted it 'doesn't settle into fine lines but does blur them along with pores,' while another said it 'locks in foundation in a way that looks natural.' Some users, however, felt it did not make a noticeable difference to their skin.
