Influencer Lorna Luxe has announced the death of her husband, John Andrews, following his battle with stage four adrenal cancer. The couple, married for 16 years, were together at home when he passed away, holding hands.
In an Instagram statement, Lorna said: 'My beautiful, brave John died yesterday. I am heartbroken. We were together to the very end, at home, in our own bed and holding hands which is exactly what he wanted.' She added that his last words to her were 'rough but in love'.
John was first diagnosed with adrenal cancer in April 2023 and entered remission after treatment. However, the cancer returned in 2024 and spread to his brain and other organs. He underwent surgery and battled sepsis over Christmas, but doctors later said treatment was no longer an option.
Lorna expressed gratitude to the district nurses, particularly a nurse named Anna, and her mother for their support. She had previously postponed a charity event to be by John's side, and thanked followers for their kind messages during the difficult time.
