Katie Price Pleads for Help to Save Son Harvey from Heart Attack Risk

Katie Price has issued a desperate plea for help to save her son Harvey, who she fears could die of a heart attack due to his weight. Harvey, 23, suffers from Prader-Willi syndrome, a rare genetic disorder that causes a permanent feeling of hunger, often leading to obesity.

On her podcast, The Katie Price Show, the reality TV star revealed she has been trying to get Harvey on weight loss jabs like Mounjaro, but has been unsuccessful. She shared a clip on Instagram Stories, writing: 'NHS are not helping if thetes any private doctors who any one know please DM me I cant lose Harvey.'

Price expressed her fears, saying: 'When he sleeps, I worry because he’s snoring and wheezing. Sometimes he holds his breath. He’s just getting bigger, and he’ll end up dying of a heart attack.' She recalled doctors warning years ago that his weight could put fatal strain on his heart.

Harvey weighs around 188kg (29.6 stone) and struggles with daily activities like putting on trainers or walking. Price added: 'It’s so sad his quality of life at the moment, where he’s so big, he just can’t really do much.' Harvey is also autistic and partially blind due to septo-optic dysplasia.

Price has been a full-time caregiver for most of Harvey’s life, but in 2020 placed him in a boarding facility for special care. She continues to advocate for his health, urging private doctors to come forward.
