Eamonn Holmes, 66, is reportedly purchasing a new property in Holywood, Northern Ireland, for weekend getaways with his girlfriend Katie Alexander, 44. The television presenter split from his former This Morning co-star Ruth Langsford, 65, in June 2024 after 27 years together, 14 of which they were married.
According to a source, Holmes has long wanted a place in Northern Ireland to visit family. 'It will be the perfect place to build a home with Katie, with no memories of anyone else. They can use it for weekend retreats,' the source told The Sun. The property is reportedly being custom-built to accommodate wheelchair users.
Holmes and Alexander, a relationship counsellor 22 years his junior, have been dating since his separation from Langsford. Meanwhile, Langsford has remained single and is preparing to release her memoir, Ruth Langsford Feeling Fabulous, on February 26. She described the book as sharing 'the ups, the downs and the lessons that have shaped her'.
Langsford also revealed she has been attending counselling since the split. 'The end of a very long relationship takes a lot of unravelling. Counselling helps you move on from it, to not be held back,' she told woman&home. She added that she now sees 'light in the future' and is open to finding love again.
