BBC Breakfast presenter Nina Warhurst has shared her heartbreak after losing three loved ones within a few months. The 42-year-old, who is currently pregnant with her third child, took to Instagram on Saturday to reveal she had said 'three goodbyes' to people she 'loved very much'.
Warhurst posted a photo of herself with her mother and sisters at a memorial service in Bath, describing it as a 'memorial celebration' where guests were asked not to wear black. 'We've said three big goodbyes in the last few months to people we loved very much,' she wrote. 'And they loved us since we were kids - guided us, made us laugh, helped us feel safe.'
The presenter said the experience had been 'bruising' but made her appreciate the support from 'special elders'. She added that the day was a celebration, with tears 'full of gratitude'. Warhurst also shared a light-hearted moment, joking that two aunties thought 'Carriages at 6pm' referred to a venue for an after-party.
Warhurst announced her third pregnancy on Mother's Day, revealing her due date is 'this summer'. She described the pregnancy as 'funky', involving migraines, vomiting, and cravings for kebabs.
