Trump accused of stroke after 'linguine legs' pose

Donald Trump has been accused of secretly suffering a stroke after his legs turned to jelly while speaking to reporters. The 80-year-old has long faced speculation about his health with some claiming he suffers from "legendary incontinence".

While taking questions from the press, Trump turned his torso which forced his right knee into a painful-looking hyperextension. Eagle-eyed social media users quickly pointed out his bizarre pose before calling him "linguine legs".

Medical expert weighs in

Medical expert Dr Adam James, who has 15 years experience treating the elderly, suggested Trump went weak at the knees because he wasn't wearing his leg braces.

The physical therapist said: "Cankles McGrifty Legs can stand like this because he's had a stroke on the left side of his brain causing weakness in his right leg.

"We have already seen photographic evidence that he was wearing braces on his lower legs... which are classic assistive devices for someone who has had a stoke."

Evidence of 'stroke face'

Dr James also pointed to Trump's "stroke face" as evidence of the US President's alleged poor health. He claimed that he most likely wears a brace on his right leg "to address foot drop - which is a very common stroke symptom."

"What is not intuitive about a patient wearing one of these is it also addresses hamstring weakness. In a stroke patient with lower extremity involvement you also have hamstring weakness where the knee can easily hyper extend when you put all your body weight on it.

"Like when you are standing talking to reporters or you are walking. It prevents that violent hyper extension of the knee so that you don't fall over."

Concerns over future health

The medical expert added: "For whatever reason, he doesn't wear the braces all the time which allows his knee to hyper extend when he rotates his trunk to the right to see or talk to someone on his right.

"He is probably feeling pretty confident because he is gaked out of his mind on provigil (a medicinal stimulant). It is just more evidence that he is a stroke patient.

"The thing about having had a stroke in the past is it makes it easier to have one or several more in the future."

Dr James previously suggested the 80-year-old wears gloves to hide IV drip bruising on his hands. He told his Instagram followers: "I bet the bruising begins to show up more often and will be way worse than it ever was. Letting us know that the end if even closer than we already thought."
