Friend Reveals Depression Struggle

Her friend Geetanjali told Telly Talk India: "If a person says so many times that they will die by suicide, then it was not sudden. For six months she had been saying that she wanted to die, that she did not want to live."

Geetanjali said Sanchita had been battling depression since the beginning of 2026. "She was depressed, of course. I think this began in January," she added.

Final Social Media Post

Sanchita shared her final social media post just hours before her death, a video of herself singing the popular song Dafli Wale. Fans have flooded the post with comments.

One wrote: "She looked so happy and enjoying her life." Another commented: "People who look happiest are the most depressed ones. They hide it in a better way." A third said: "Miss you, Sanchita."

Police continue to investigate, as the exact reason behind her death remains unknown. If you or someone you know is struggling, contact the Samaritans at 116 123, email jo@samaritans.org, or visit samaritans.org.
