Louise Thompson has praised her fiancé Ryan Libbey for attending his first therapy session, as she continues her recovery in hospital. The former Made In Chelsea star, 32, shared a screenshot of a FaceTime call with Ryan bathing their son Leo-Hunter at home, writing on Instagram: 'So proud of this guy (dad award of the year) heading to his first therapy session this evening.'
Thompson has been documenting her ongoing battle with postnatal depression and PTSD since giving birth in November last year. Earlier this week, her team revealed she had returned to hospital for treatment. The reality TV star has suffered numerous health issues since the birth, including a 'weird form of dementia' that has caused memory loss.
On Thursday, Thompson also shared a photo of her brother Sam Thompson visiting her in hospital, captioning it: 'A few hours of dreamy distraction. Family is the greatest privilege.' Ryan Libbey, 31, broke his Instagram silence earlier that day, thanking followers for their support and posting a photo of their son in a blue knitted jumper.
Thompson recently revealed that Libbey is also suffering from PTSD following the traumatic birth. The couple welcomed their son Leo-Hunter in November, but the labour was complicated, leaving Thompson in a wheelchair and hospitalised for a month. She has credited the NHS with saving her life.
