Reece May, who once weighed 36 stone and consumed 15,000 calories a day, has revealed his remarkable weight loss journey on Good Morning Britain. He lost 15 stone after changing his lifestyle.
Former eating habits
Reece told presenters Charlotte Hawkins and Richard Madeley that he used to eat kebabs for breakfast and would wake up at night to eat chocolate and crisps. His daily diet included a pizza for lunch and three mixed grills for dinner, along with snacks throughout the day and night.
He feared he was "eating himself to death" and was left in a "dark, depressive state." When shown what his old daily diet looked like, he admitted he couldn't believe it.
Turning point
Reece recalled a pivotal moment at a gym, where a staff member told him, "You're not long for this world." He broke down and then spoke to a personal trainer about changing his life.
Now, he exercises five days a week and uses weight-loss injections. He said, "I'm never hungry, I've sometimes got to force myself to eat, I've got a meal plan that I'm sticking to vigorously, I'm training five times a week."
New life
Reece feels "really well" and "amazing" after his transformation. He added, "I don't intend on breaking it because I don't want to go back to eating all that food." He confessed, "I can't put it into words."
