Lucy Fallon has revealed that her baby daughter was taken to hospital after falling seriously ill. The Coronation Street actress said Nancy, born in January, was "really sick".
In an emotional social media post, Fallon described a "chaotic weekend" marked by sickness and A&E visits. She said Nancy had been suffering from a sickness bug, sinus infections and teething, as well as a throat infection, an ear infection and an eye infection. The baby was also vomiting and cutting two top teeth.
Fallon, who plays Bethany Platt on the ITV soap, shared a video of Nancy with a visibly swollen eye. "I don't know who I am anymore," she wrote, adding: "Life comes at you really fast."
The actress and her partner Ryan are currently living with his parents while their own home in West Lancashire is renovated. The couple met on a dating app in 2020 following her split from Tom Leech. Their first child, Sonny, was born in January 2023, and Nancy arrived in January this year.
Fallon has previously said she was "terrified" to tell her bosses about her second pregnancy, crying in the green room before breaking the news to a producer. She now films no more than two consecutive days to be around her children. She returned to Coronation Street in July, sharing a photo from her dressing room with the caption: "And just like that, she's back."
