Katie Price fears Harvey heart attack amid obesity battle

Katie Price has revealed her terror that her son Harvey could suffer a heart attack, as his weight and mobility issues worsen. The former model spoke on Andrew Gold's podcast Heretics, admitting that while Harvey has numerous health conditions, it is his obesity that worries her most.

Harvey's Health Struggles

Harvey, who weighs just under 30 stone, has Prader Willi Syndrome, septo-optic dysplasia, autism, ADHD, cortisol deficiency, and a tic disorder. Katie explained that he now finds it difficult to walk without breaking into a sweat and cannot get in and out of the bath without help.

She said: "I'm not worried about his eyesight. What I'm worried about is him having a heart attack, his obesity. He weighs just under 30 stone. I've tried going private with him to start him on Mounjaro, but because of his medical [issues]…"

Medication Concerns

Katie noted that while she could easily give Harvey the weight-loss drug, she would not do so without proper medical oversight due to his other medications. She added: "You have to have all the team tick it off. It's getting to a point now where he doesn't want to walk anywhere, he gets out of breath and sweats. They have said he's at high risk of having a heart attack."

When Andrew suggested she cannot force Harvey to walk, Katie responded: "You try, but, like, he literally breaks out in sweat."

Emotional Impact

Katie described the heartbreaking moment she sees her son struggle with daily tasks: "It breaks my heart seeing him getting in and out the bath, just because he's so big and heavy. He goes, 'Mum, I'm like a humpbacked whale'. I'm like, 'No you're not, Harv, I love you.'"

Despite his challenges, Harvey maintains a sense of humor, telling his mother he has a "Santa belly" and calling others with big bellies "fat Peppa Pig" characters. Katie confirmed Harvey does not get upset by his own comments about his size.
