Charlotte Berman, known for her appearance on the BBC reality series The Traitors, has announced the birth of her first child. The 34-year-old reality star and her husband Alexander welcomed a daughter named Zoe Clara Florrie on 21st April 2026.
Berman shared the news on Instagram, posting a photo of herself and her husband smiling in the sunshine while holding their newborn. The post also included a newspaper clipping with the birth announcement, which read: 'Nicholson on 21st April 2026 to Charlotte Xara Louise and Alexander Thomas Helby, a daughter, Zoe Clara Florrie. So wanted and so loved.'
The star, who faked a Welsh accent during her time on The Traitors, had previously opened up about her fertility struggles. During the show, she told host Claudia Winkleman that if she won the prize pot, she would use the money to fund fertility treatment. In an interview with the BBC, she said: 'There are a few things; we’re looking at going through fertility treatment soon, so money towards that would be great.'
Berman announced her pregnancy over the festive period, sharing an ultrasound image among Christmas photos. She wrote that she was 'quietly excited' and taking her pregnancy 'one day at a time'. Fellow Traitors contestants, including Judy Wilson, Linda Rand and Freddie Fraser, congratulated her on the news.
Charlotte Berman entered The Traitors as a faithful but was recruited as a traitor in episode eight. She was banished after arousing suspicion and finished in fifth place. She later revealed that her Welsh accent was a strategic move, saying: 'I'm from London where I am born and bred. I've been putting on a Welsh accent because my mum's from Wales and it's one of the most trustworthy accents.'
