Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo have announced the birth of their first child, a baby boy. The Made in Chelsea stars shared the joyful news on Instagram, posting photos of themselves cradling their newborn in hospital.
The couple revealed the unique name they have chosen for their son, writing: 'Ziggy, you have our whole hearts.' Famous friends including Stacey Solomon, Stacey Dooley, Rochelle Humes, Rylan Clark, and Alex Jones sent their congratulations.
The couple announced they were expecting in June. Last week, they recorded the final episode of their podcast 'Nearly Parents,' where Sophie became emotional during a surprise farewell celebration before her maternity leave.
During the podcast, Sophie joked about trying to induce labour, saying they were 'nailing the sex.' Jamie quipped that she was 'a bit of a unit,' leading to laughter.
Sophie and Jamie got engaged in December 2021 and married in a civil ceremony in London in April 2023.
