Sienna Miller has admitted she was surprised by just how see-through her sheer white Givenchy gown was when she used it to announce her third pregnancy at The Fashion Awards last December. The 44-year-old actor told The Telegraph that she had not realised the dress would be so transparent under the camera lights, though she felt confident wearing it.
Miller, who already has a 13-year-old daughter, Marlowe, with ex-boyfriend Tom Sturridge, and a baby girl with partner Oli Green born in January 2024, said she saw the announcement as a practical way to get the news out before a press junket the next morning. She has a playful approach to maternity style, having previously shown off her second pregnancy at Vogue World in London in 2023 in an ivory two-piece set by Schiaparelli that framed her bare bump.
At 44, Miller is considered a 'geriatric mother' and said she sees her daring pregnancy outfits as an opportunity to challenge her own prejudices about how pregnant women should look. 'It's kind of fascinating to fight your own prejudice against yourself. I'm constantly doing that,' she said. She also admitted she would like to reach a point where she does not feel the need to make jokes about being older and having a baby.
Miller and Green, who is 29 and also an actor, began dating in 2021. She told Harper's Bazaar that she did not intend to fall for a younger man, saying, 'I wasn't like, “I'm gonna get a younger boyfriend.” It was more, “F***! Why are you young? That's so annoying.”'
