Pregnant Dianne Buswell wowed fans as she returned to the Strictly Come Dancing dancefloor during the weekend's live shows. The 36-year-old Australian professional dancer, who is expecting her first child with boyfriend Joe Sugg, performed in the group number at Blackpool Tower Ballroom and again on Sunday's results show.
Buswell, originally partnered with Neighbours star Stefan Dennis, continued to feature in routines after Dennis withdrew due to a torn calf. On Sunday, she danced alongside Vito Coppola, Lauren Oakley, and Neil Jones to a live performance by Lewis Capaldi.
Fans praised her energetic display on social media, with one writing: 'Dianne getting to perform at the front of the group number on Saturday night and now with Lewis Capaldi tonight... Has definitely been a highlight of strictly this weekend for me.' Another added: 'Obsessed with Blackpool being the Dianne show this weekend.'
Dennis, who was forced to leave the competition early, expressed his devastation in a statement, thanking the Strictly family and Buswell for their support. Buswell and Sugg, who met on the show in 2018, announced their pregnancy in September, revealing they are expecting a baby boy.
Buswell recently confessed on a podcast that she is struggling to fit into her clothes, saying she tried shopping but ended up buying nothing after needing to go up two sizes.
