Myleene Klass has spoken candidly about her experience with miscarriages, admitting she 'didn't even know who I was' before she began campaigning for women's health awareness. The Loose Women panellist received her MBE earlier this month for services to women's health, miscarriage awareness and charity.
Klass, who has suffered four miscarriages, shared her joy on Instagram after receiving the honour from King Charles. She described the moment as 'utterly overjoyed and humbled', with her family and 'rainbow baby boy' present. She told the King about her work with Tommy's and the graded model of care, as well as the bereavement leave secured with the Miscarriage Association and MPs.
In an interview on Paul C. Bronson's podcast We Need To Talk, Klass reflected on her journey. 'I didn't even know who I was. I was just hell bent on trying to keep a baby but didn't know how to,' she said. She also highlighted the role of men in miscarriage, stating that their health 'plays as big a role' and that it is not solely a woman's responsibility.
Klass also spoke about her time on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! in 2006, where she finished as runner-up. She described it as a chance to 'be a person again' and find confidence, saying 'you can only be yourself' without editing.
