A couple from Worcestershire who were both diagnosed with cancer within months of each other have praised the consultant who helped ensure the safe arrival of their baby daughter.
James received his cancer diagnosis first, followed by his wife Bethany, who was pregnant at the time. Bethany underwent treatment at Worcestershire Royal Hospital while carrying their daughter Heidi.
The couple described their baby as a 'miracle', with Bethany defying a terminal cancer diagnosis to give birth. During a recent interview, Heidi was seen giggling and burping on the sofa, bringing joy to her parents.
They expressed gratitude to the medical team, particularly the consultant who managed Bethany's care during pregnancy, allowing them to welcome their daughter safely despite the challenging circumstances.
