Love Island's Tyla Carr splits from boyfriend months after birth of baby son

Love Island star Tyla Carr has announced her split from partner Rossco Edmonds, just seven months after the birth of their son Archie Ray. The 26-year-old, who appeared on the 2017 series of the ITV2 dating show, revealed her newly single status on Instagram, sharing a photo of herself in a black evening gown after a night out with friends.

In the caption, Carr wrote: 'I am recently single, I've been super quiet because I'm really not sure what to say, it's an awful situation, but I will explain a few things in good time.' She thanked her friends for the night out, describing it as a chance to escape stress and 'just be me for the night'.

Carr also reflected on the challenges of single parenthood, joking about the hangover the next morning with her son. 'All my fellow Mums, and even you Dads... when you have a young child, it's not often you get a night away,' she wrote. 'However the hangover with @archie.edmonds was really pretty bad, thank God I'm staying at my mums for a while.'

The couple had welcomed Archie in December last year and had previously spoken about getting engaged. In an interview with OK! magazine, Carr said she would like to be engaged by the time Archie starts school, while Edmonds added that it was 'the next step' for them. The pair discovered Carr was pregnant just four months into their relationship.
