Former Home and Away actress Demi Harman has given birth to her first daughter, Florence Mae Brooks, with her producer husband Andrew Brooks. The 33-year-old, who played Sasha Bezmel in the Australian soap from 2011 to 2015, announced the news on Instagram with a black-and-white photo, describing the newborn as a 'slice of heaven'.
Florence arrived early, measuring 21.5 inches and weighing 9lbs 10.2oz. Harman captioned the post: 'She’s sleepy, sassy and everything we wanted in our girl.' The couple already have a son, Beau Thomas Brooks, born in 2023.
Harman, who also starred in Winners & Losers, met Brooks in the US. They announced their engagement in summer 2019 and married in California in January 2022. Brooks is a producer on the Netflix series Nobody Wants This, starring Kristen Bell and Adam Brody.
The Brisbane-born actress announced her second pregnancy in July 2025 with a humorous video referencing Love Island USA. Her birth announcement mirrored the style of Beau's arrival two years ago, when she shared his weight, height and personality traits.
Before moving to the US, Harman dated her Home and Away co-star Alex Snow. She previously described breaking into Hollywood as a 'whole new ballgame' compared to acting in Australia, but expressed optimism about her career prospects.
