Trump Health Fears After Expert Notes 'Stroke-Like' Symptoms

US President Donald Trump has sparked fresh health speculation after a physical therapist raised concerns following his appearance on live television, where he was observed 'mumbling'. The worries emerged after an Oval Office event on June 4, where the 79-year-old spoke to reporters about environmental policy and 'clean coal'.

Expert Analysis of Footage

A healthcare professional specialising in geriatrics has provided a detailed assessment of the footage, claiming Mr Trump exhibited what he interprets as 'stroke-like' symptoms. It should be noted that there is no official evidence suggesting the US President has suffered a stroke, and the White House has rejected speculation regarding his health.

Adam James, a physical therapist who shares content online under the handle @epistemiccrisis, examined footage from the event and posted his observations on Instagram. James, who states he has 14 years of professional experience and holds a doctorate in his field, suggested Trump's appearance was cause for concern. In a video shared online, he said: 'Don Snorleone had a stroke on camera yesterday.'

Specific Concerns Raised

James subsequently indicated Trump may have experienced what he termed a 'stroke-like event', highlighting a period when the President had made comparatively few public appearances. Addressing the President's posture, James said: 'I've had so many stroke patients over the years that the stroke has affected the strength and the tone of the muscles on one side of their trunk and they cannot maintain upright posture.' He continued: 'But when he's very fatigued and falling asleep, he's going to lean to one side.'

James also highlighted a particular moment during the event where he felt Trump appeared to stumble over his words before carrying on with his speech. He stated: 'That right there was the worst instance of expressive aphasia, a common symptom of left sided stroke on the left side of the brain where your language centres are, I have ever seen from him to date. Did you hear him mumble through those words?'

The therapist further suggested Trump's jaw movements might point to neurological concerns, though these claims remain unverified by independent sources.

White House Response

At the briefing, Trump addressed reporters before passing proceedings to Interior Secretary Doug Burgum and Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lee Zeldin. While the two officials were speaking, some on social media observed that the President looked weary and momentarily shut his eyes.

However, despite online speculation, there has been no official confirmation that Trump has experienced a stroke, dementia or any other neurological disorder. The White House and Trump's medical advisers have repeatedly rejected similar suggestions regarding the President's health, stating such claims lack medical substantiation.
