Getreadytorumble tipped in the Coral Charge

The lightning-fast Coral Charge at Sandown is set to be a furious 5f sprint, and Steve Jones believes GETREADYTORUMBLE (1.50) is perfectly suited. The Jack Channon-trained sprinter developed into a smart performer last year and began this season with an excellent third behind Mission Central in a Naas Listed race. Jones notes that Getreadytorumble likely would have finished second with a clear run, and the form has been boosted by Mission Central winning the King Charles III Stakes at Royal Ascot.

Getreadytorumble was well beaten at Royal Ascot but had little chance from stall one on the unfavoured far side. A similar issue occurred in Haydock's Temple Stakes. Despite being drawn wide again in stall 10, the strong pace should allow him to slot in. Jones recommends 1pt each-way at 9-1 with Sky Bet paying four places.

Mirsky overpriced in the Coral Challenge

David O'Meara's MIRSKY (2.25) is considered well overpriced in the Coral Challenge. He ran well for a long way in the Buckingham Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot despite having to cross from a middle stall to the stands' rail, fading only late to seventh. Jones expects him to be happier back at a mile after that 7f effort. His defeat of Blue Rc in the Thirsk Hunt Cup in May demonstrated his ability. Jones advises 1pt each-way at 25-1, with most firms offering five places.

Lava Stream for the Lancashire Oaks

O'Meara's LAVA STREAM (2.40) has a decent chance in the Lancashire Oaks. She failed to stay 1m6f at York in May but should be spot on after missing all of last year. Jones recommends 1pt each-way at 10-1.
