Time Traveller Claims Los Angeles Underwater in Year 5000
Time Traveller: LA Underwater in Year 5000

A man who calls himself Edward claims he traveled 3,000 years into the future and returned with a photo of what he says is Los Angeles entirely submerged under water.

Future Vision

In online footage, a man known only as Edward holds what he claims is a photograph showing Los Angeles completely underwater. The planet's atmosphere is warming, driving climate change that melts polar ice caps and raises sea levels.

Environmental campaigners fear that without curbs on fossil fuels and pollution, major cities worldwide could suffer devastating flooding. Edward claims he has first-hand knowledge that this is not just a warning but an unavoidable reality.

Secret Experiment

Speaking to Apex TV, a YouTube channel specializing in paranormal stories, Edward disclosed he took part in a secret time-travel experiment in 2004 and was sent 3,000 years into the future. He claims he was shocked upon arriving in LA, which was underwater beneath a vast body of water.

Edward stated he had been employed in an LA laboratory when he was asked to travel forward in time to take photographs. Throughout the footage, his face remains concealed and his voice digitally altered to protect his identity.

Atlantis Connection

He said: "I will tell you a story that will amaze you and you will be astonished. I appeared at a 'place'. It was unbelievable. I was standing on a huge wooden platform. Not only me, houses, buildings, all made from wood. And after, I realised it was the same city, Los Angeles, but underwater."

In more remarkable claims, Edward says he has talked with people living in Atlantis, the legendary sunken civilization. They told him the deluge occurred due to climate change.

Skepticism

Time travel remains, despite conspiracy theories, an unverified accomplishment. Many have claimed to be time travelers, but nothing has ever been validated. According to NASA, the type of time travel Edward alleges "only happens in books and movies."

The American space agency stated: "Although humans can't hop into a time machine and go back in time, we do know that clocks on airplanes and satellites travel at a different speed than those on Earth. We can't use a time machine to travel hundreds of years into the past or future. That kind of time travel only happens in books and movies. But the math of time travel does affect the things we use every day, for example, GPS satellites."
