Daniela Ridener, a 27-year-old mother from Lubbock, Texas, says her life became a living hell when her breasts grew uncontrollably to a size P, weighing nearly two stone. Her husband, Jordan Ridener, 31, had to help lift her breasts to relieve back pain during her period.
Rapid Growth from B to P Cup
Ridener’s breasts were a B cup in high school and grew to a DD by college in 2018. After meeting Jordan, her breasts rapidly expanded. By their engagement in 2020, she was a size H, and on her wedding day in January 2022, she had reached a size P—an eight-cup-size jump. The 5ft 7in mother-of-two experienced extreme pain and breathlessness during everyday tasks like washing dishes or shaving her legs.
Wedding Dress and Surgery
Ridener had to drastically alter her wedding dress because her breasts no longer fit. She attempted to get a breast reduction before the wedding but was unsuccessful. In August 2022, she underwent surgery, removing 2.5 stone of skin and tissue, dropping 14 cup sizes to a B. A photo shows the removed tissue in buckets. The surgeon could not save her nipples due to stretched skin, but Ridener says recovery was “super easy” and she now loves her smaller chest.
Blame on Contraceptive Coil
Ridener believes her hormonal IUD caused the growth, stating, “I feel like it was birth control. The doctors were adamant that it wasn't but I had just got an IUD fitted and they immediately started growing. I gained 50lbs but I didn't change pant sizes. Nothing changed apart from how big my boobs were getting.” Medical professionals have refuted this claim.
Daily Struggles and Public Stares
Ridener said, “I didn't really notice how big they were but every time I went out in public my mom would get so mad as everyone would stare at me. People have mistaken me for having plastic surgery because they were so big.” She added, “I would get back spasms. Every time I would do the dishes or stand up for a long period of time, I would then have to go and lie down.” She also developed wounds and infections due to stretched, paper-thin skin.
Life After Surgery
After the $4,000 operation, Ridener says she can complete daily tasks with ease. Now a D cup after having two children, she said, “I can't imagine how big they would have grown if I hadn't got the surgery done beforehand. I'm losing weight now and my boobs are getting smaller. People don't stare at me now. I can go to the store now and buy clothes now and I don't have to buy them all online.”
